Lawrence C. Shumila, CPA is a co-founder of Strategic Placement Services, Inc. Larry graduated from Bentley College, Waltham, MA and began his professional career with the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) in 1978. After four years in the commercial audit practice supporting a diverse group of small to large audit clients, he switched careers into financial search. Joining a national full service financial search firm in 1982, he serviced a wide variety of industries and clients through the high growth 1980's. Starting up Strategic Placement Services, Inc. in March 1994, Larry serves as its President with responsibility for client development, training and office administration.

With over 25 years of professional service experience in the New England marketplace, Larry practices the highest level of professional customer service. His training and development efforts consistently promote that premier candidate and client services are critical attributes to building successful relationships. Steven H. Lanzoni is a co-founder of Strategic Placement Services, Inc. He serves as the company's Chief Operating Officer with primary responsibility for business development and sales management. Steve graduated from Boston University School of Management, Boston, MA. He began his career at Computervision Corporation as a Financial Analyst. During his three-year tenure, Steve held various positions in corporate and divisional financial management. Early in 1986, Steve entered the staffing industry with a large national search firm. With nine years of consistent national recognition for "Top Sales" production and sales management responsibility, Steve left to start Strategic Placement Services, Inc. in March 1994.

Today, Steve continues to service a wide variety of clients. He leads Strategic Placement Services, Inc.'s business development, sales and marketing efforts. Steve's ability to consistently deliver high quality search services in a timely and effective manner makes him one of the area's leading executive recruiters.
